Analog Clock - Privacy Policy

Analog Clock is an analog clock widget for Android, published by alpxstudio ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects and why.

What the app does not collect

• No account, sign-in, name, e-mail address, phone number or any other information that identifies you personally.
• No advertising identifier. The app contains no advertising, and the advertising ID permission is deliberately removed from the app.
• No precise location, contacts, photos, files, messages, calendar or microphone. The app requests none of these permissions.
• No payment or card details. Purchases are handled end to end by Google Play; we never see your payment information.

Your chosen clock style and preferences are stored only on your device.

What the app does collect

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is used, so we can decide what to improve. The following is collected:

• An app-instance identifier generated by Firebase for each installation. It is not linked to you or to any account.
• Approximate location (country or region level), derived by Google from a masked IP address. The app itself does not access device location.
• App interactions: app opens, sessions, screen views, and general device information such as device model, Android version and language.
• In-app actions: which clock style and settings you apply, whether the widget is on your home screen and with which settings, whether the widget was added or removed, and whether a purchase was started, completed or cancelled (the product identifier only).

We do not collect the content of anything you type, and the app has no text input.

Why

Analytics only - to see which clock styles and settings people actually use, and to find where the app fails (for example a purchase that cannot be completed). The data is not used for advertising or profiling, and it is not sold.

Who processes the data

Google LLC processes this data on our behalf as part of Firebase / Google Analytics. It is transmitted encrypted (TLS) and is retained for at most 14 months. We do not share it with any other third party.

Your choices

Uninstalling the app stops all collection. Because the data is not tied to an identity, we cannot look up or return data about a specific person; if you have a question or a request, write to us at the address below and we will help as far as we are able.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
